Register your Pets on Pet Tag we provide a unique identity Tag with a web address www.petrescuesos.co.uk and a unique number which identifies your pet.

Anyone who finds a pet with a PetTag only needs to visit - www.petrescuesos.co.uk and enter the unique disc ID number!

This number, plus the website is clearly visible on the disc which is then attached to the pet's collar.

What is Pet Rescue SOS?

Put simply, Pet Rescue SOS is the place where you can register your pets, have them assigned a unique tag and identity number which can used to identify and locate your pet anywhere in the world. This service is available online 24hrs a day and you have access to your own registration section from where you can manage your account and pets.

Why should I register my Pets?

By registering your pets you are making every attempt to safeguard your family pet. Every pet you register will be assigned a unique tag and identity number this enables any person who may find your pet to track it back to its family.

How much does it cost to use your service and register my pets?

The Registration fee starts £15

My pets are Microchipped - Why will this not work?

Most people do not realise that a microchip only provides a number when scanned - No other details are available with a microchip. Owners & vets need to register the Microchip number on a database which then records the owners/pets details. Most owners do not register the pets microchip details with a database or forget to update their details when they relocate.
Another problem arises that even if a Pet is Microchipped and registered with a Database - the person who find the Pet & identifies the Chip still has no idea where to try and find the database that the pet may be registered on, especially if this is in another country.

Why would my Pet run off/Get lost?

During the relocation process at both origin & destination adivress's Pet are faced with Strangers moving in and our of their home environment. (Movers etc). Pets often wander out of the home, hide or in some cases get packed!
On arrival at the new destination they may also wander off or become disorientated with their new surroundings. It is also possible that they could be come lost in transit from the old to new location.

How many pets can I register?

There is no limit to the number of pets you may register.

What happens if I have lost my registered pet?

If you have lost or think your pet may have been lost or stolen, please visit the website and register your pet as lost in the lost pet section.

What information is displayed about me if I register my Pet?

None, we do not disclose any information about you or your registered pets unless you list your pet on our missing pets register. We do not display any email adivresses or contact details.
